Why four-handed?

Four hands are better than two – especially when you need rest and healing. A four-handed treatment is like experiencing two full treatments at the same time.

These treatments multiply both the sensation and effect, and the synchronous movements physically balance both sides of the body. These therapies are of immense importance to the functioning of the organs, as they increase circulation, energy flow and overall well-being, speeding up the detoxification process of the body. In addition to their stress-relieving effects, they increase mental alertness, calm the nervous system and strengthen the immune system. Last but not least, the stimuli coming from the right and the left from the same movements and in the same rhythm coordinate the functioning of the two hemispheres of the brain, which also have a positive effect on the growth of mental and creative activity and the development of skills.

This technique embraces all the virtues of individual treatments while surpassing them in their effectiveness and the good feeling they convey, as the energies and movements of the practitioners are doubly present. Synchronous treatments generate energies that allow one to experience the feeling of unity and ancestral trust. A state of equilibrium can be created that awakens the body’s self-healing mechanism, through which it becomes even more cleansed and regenerative.

This is the most important treatment in Ayurvedic medicine, recommended for general health, well-being, insomnia, sleep disturbance, depression, joint problems, circulatory problems and also for overcoming stress. Its benefits are mainly seen in mental alertness, calming the nervous system, and also improving appetite. The essence of Ayurvedic massage therapy is that it provides a personalized treatment to bring balance to the particular individual, so the massage practitioner may decide which type of oil is most suitable to use for the treatment. The highlight of this treatment is that the massage steps go through the Marma points covering the human body, thus dissolving any blockages. The Abhayanga massage begins with the selected pleasantly warmed oil applied to the face and head, continues onto the soles of the feet and upwards, onto the abdomen and chest, from which even the earlobes are no exception.

Elakhizi is extremely effective for pain, swelling, stiffness, numbness, arthritis, rheumatism, spondylosis (vertebral calcification), low blood circulation and weakness. We cook the Khurundoti root in cow’s milk for long hours at a time and then fill the bags of cloth with Navara rice. This procedure is the same for Elakhizi, dipping the cloth bags in the warm milk and gently tapping, coating and massaging the body with them. Maintaining heat is also essential to this process. Ayurveda recommends this form of treatment for high blood pressure, rheumatism, weak muscles, sciatica, high cholesterol, sexual problems, infertility and skin problems.

We combine light chiropractic with ayurvedic, using special heated cloth bags to warm and relax the muscles. With this method, we can help with muscle stiffness and hardening, clumping, pinched nerves, lumbago, sciatica, cervical spine issues, shoulder pain, fatigue, headache, scoliosis, and limping. This treatment does not affect the bones, but the muscles and joints. It can be used to eliminate symptoms that trigger disorders. In the case of pain, we often feel that our joints are sore, when in reality our brains may be sending a signal about a bone overload developing near the joints. That is why it is so important to tone our muscles so that we can permanently eliminate the source of the pain.

The patient then performs an eye exercise to help lubricate it. Tarpan, as a treatment, is very effective, especially for dry itchy, red, irritated, teary, and ringed eyes. It also significantly improves vision after repeated treatment and is recommended for prevention of loss of sight especially for those who often use a computer or sit in front of a TV screen. We do not achieve results after just one treatment, as continuity is the key, so we recommend this as a remedy. The duration of the treatment depends on the individual and the specific condition.
